Dear Community Services Families,
I hope that all of you are keeping well and feeling optimistic as the days lengthen and the weather warms!
This past year has been a challenge in so many ways, but especially in terms of how it has affected our usual patterns of interaction and connection to those that we love. The return of warmer weather will provide more options for visitation and the arrival of vaccines brings hope of an eventual end to this pandemic.
The Department of Families has asked us to distribute a letter on their behalf regarding a pilot project that the Community Living disAbility Services (CLdS) is undertaking with St.Amant (and two other organizations).

If you have any questions about this, I invite you to communicate with me. The letter also provides contact info for the appropriate parties in CLdS if you prefer to contact them.
St.Amant will provide more detailed information about this pilot project ahead of the launch date.
I wish you all a peaceful and pleasant weekend,
Dana Hope
Director, Community Services

Message from the CEO

There are no disability rights; only human rights. I was reminded of that old saying when thinking about the busy month ahead of us. Just like our province, the St.Amant community includes people of all backgrounds. This month, many of us will celebrate belonging, inclusion, and the beauty that exists in diversity.
