Jules’ Story

March 27, 2018

Ever since he was little, painting helped Jules cope with difficult times. When he puts paintbrush to paper, he thinks about how everyone goes through hard times and for him creating & sharing art is a way to help make people happy.

Jules was a featured artist at the Spirited Art Soirée on March 14 and the art he created was auctioned off to raise funds. He said he was happy to participate because he’s grateful for St.Amant’s support.

“I can see the difference of having a home in my own life,” said Jules. “I want to help out kids and families to have a better life.”

That night, Lynda met Jules at the food table and asked to see his art.

“It was pretty cool because he saw so much in his art –dolphins coming out of the water and trees,” she said. “All the things in his art were happy. It made me realize how positive he was and how much he wanted to help people.”

Jules and many other artists donated their works to help raise more than $45,000 in support of autism research at the St.Amant Research Centre.
