MTYP Providing Relaxed Performances This Winter

December 17, 2018

Manitoba Theatre for Young People (MTYP) has scheduled two relaxed performances this winter.
Designed for audiences who would benefit from a more relaxed performance environment, including individuals on the autism spectrum and individuals with sensory sensitivities. Relaxed performances can also be a good introductory experience for first-time audience members. Though the play will remain unchanged, small modifications will be made such as reducing loud noises and effects. The house lights in the theatre will also be adjusted so that individuals can come and go from the theatre as needed, and designated break areas will be available for use during the performance.
Upcoming Relaxed Performances at MTYP:
House at Pooh Corner – Tuesday, December 26, 2018, 1 p.m. – Ages 3 and up.
Torn Through Time – Saturday, February 2, 2019, 1 p.m. – Ages 7 and up.
