Spring solstice ceremony and sharing circle open to everyone

March 4, 2019

Join us as we gather on Tuesday, March 12, at 1:30pm-2:30pm in the Chapel at 440 River Road to celebrate the arrival of the new spring season.
This experience is open to all.
Please support those who find meaning in wearing their traditional clothing to prepare accordingly. Blankets will also be available.
People who have their own drum practice are asked to bring their drum to share in the opening and closing songs. Those who practice First Nations, Metis or Inuit dance will have a space to share their dance during the songs.
We will be hosting friends from the WRHA Indigenous Health and Cultural Care program who will lead us in a ceremony, a smoke-free smudge and a sharing circle. Afterward, we will enjoy some refreshments and a traditional snack.
If you have any questions please contact Andrew Terhoch at aterhoch@stamant.ca or 204-256-4301 ext. 2611.
