Message to Autism Programs Families – April 21

April 21, 2020

Dear Families:
I am reaching out today to see how your family is doing and to offer to connect you with additional supports, if needed. I recognize that this pandemic is forcing all of us out of our routines, affecting jobs, as well as our connections to friends and families. Many families are finding this time challenging. You are not alone, we are all in this together.
St.Amant has been posting resources to our website to help support your family. These include activities for children, self-care and wellness, and mental health and counselling supports. If you have found any helpful resources that you think St.Amant should share, please let me know so we can add them to the website for others to access.
Thank you for your patience, support and flexibility as we navigate this new world together and learn how we can best support your child and your family. If you are looking for support of any kind, we encourage you to reach out and we will do our best to connect you with resources. Please continue to be safe and keep healthy and take care of yourselves and each other.
Sincerely,
Kerri Walters, Ph.D., C. Psych., BCBA-D
Director, Autism Programs and Psychology Services
