Visitation Update to Community Services Families – July 16, 2021

July 16, 2021

Dear Families,
We are pleased to share the latest visitation information from the Province of Manitoba for people supported in community living programs funded by Community Living disAbility Services. The visitation guidelines in the latest public health orders, effective July 17, 2021, mean further ease restrictions on indoor and outdoor visits and gatherings and apply to all regions of the province.
With these new changes, the guidelines regarding visits to the community home remain in place. Staff are continuing to wear PPE indoors and all visitors must wear PPE indoors. Visitations either in-home or out-of-home will be suspended when there is a presumptive/confirmed positive case of COVID-19 in the community home. Staff must continue to screen visitors prior to each visit and maintain a log of all people who have visited the facility (https://manitoba.ca/asset_library/en/coronavirus/covid19_screening_checklist.pdf).

Out-of-Home Visitation

The following out-of-home visitation restrictions apply to CLDS participants, regardless of their living situation.
