Dear St.Amant Families,
We see yet again our Covid-19 numbers coming down this week, a great reason to have a renewed sense of optimism in the beginning of this Lunar New Year.
The number of positive staff and people we support this week are:
Three cases in people we support: one in Autism Programs and two in Community Services.
Nine cases in staff: two in Autism Programs, two in the Community Residential Program, three in Community Services and two in Health & Transition Services.
I wanted to thank everyone who shared their gratitude to our staff, via email, letter and video. This has been a difficult time, and I truly think sharing gratitude will help us all get past this latest COVID-19 hurdle.
I want to remind everyone, again, of the efficacy of vaccines against COVID-19 and encourage you to book your booster shot at one of the many community clinics. St.Amant is hosting a vaccine clinic for children this weekend, our staff and volunteers are looking forward to helping many families feel a little safer.
As caregivers, I hope you can show yourselves the same compassion that you show others, and that you can find some time to take care of yourself this week.
Sincerely,
John Leggat
