The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club is proud to announce that it will host Autism Awareness Night presented by Red River Co-op on Saturday, Mar. 26 when the Moose take on the Charlotte Checkers at the MTS Centre at 7 p.m.
During the game on Mar. 26, the Moose will wear specialty themed jerseys featuring a puzzle piece design. All player jerseys will be auctioned off in support of St.Amant’s Autism Program.
At each Moose home game during the month of March leading up to Autism Awareness Night, special player puzzles will be on sale on the concourse. Each puzzle features a different Manitoba
Moose player with John Albert, Eric Comrie, Chase De Leo, JC Lipon, Josh Morrissey and Nic Petan rounding out the series. Each limited edition puzzle is autographed by the player it features and will be available for purchase for $20 each. Fans who purchase a puzzle will also be entered into a draw to win a Manitoba Moose Autism Awareness jersey.
As well, customers at any of Red River Co-op’s 35 gas bar and four grocery store locations in Winnipeg can make a donation to the cause. Anyone who makes a cash donation will receive a ballot to enter a draw to win a 12-person suite to watch a Moose home game and a Manitoba Moose Autism Awareness Jersey.
Net proceeds from the Autism Awareness jerseys and player puzzles along with donations made at Red River Co-op locations will be donated to St.Amant’s Autism Program. The funds raised will be used to help support a community based classroom for preschool aged children with autism.
Tickets for the Manitoba Moose Autism Awareness Night and every Moose regular season home game are available at MooseHockey.com/tickets.
