St.Amant Foundation Received Over $1000 From Dash For Cash Ice Fishing Derby

March 18, 2013

On February 23, the first annual Red River Dash For Cash Winter Fish Off was held on the Red River at Selkirk Park in Selkirk. The St.Amant Foundation was the event’s 50/50 Draw charity.
While they fished, the Winnipeg Jets game was played over speakers and a signed Zach Bogosian Winnipeg Jets jersey (with the Autism Ribbon stiched on it) was drawn with proceeds to the Foundation. The Foundation’s 50/50 raised $616 for the Autism Program and another $400 for the Zach Bogosian jersey! The first time event was a success and organized by Danielle Gould and Derek Robinson. They have a friend who has a child in St.Amant’s Autism Program and wanted to raise some funds for the program. Giveaways happened throughout the day while participants listened to music from a live DJ and ate some food from Little Bones Wingery. The Shell gas station located at 390 Main St. in Selkirk wills also donated 50 cents from every container of minnows sold that day to the St.Amant Foundation.
