Announcing Our New Executive Director: Tania Douglas

On behalf of Craig Murray, Chair of the St.Amant Foundation Board of Directors, and Ben Adaman, President & CEO of St.Amant, we are thrilled to welcome Tania Douglas as the new Executive Director for the St.Amant Foundation, effective June 24.

Tania brings 20 years of experience in the charitable sector, with significant roles at the Manitoba Opera, Inclusion Winnipeg, and the Children’s Hospital Foundation. She earned her Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation in 2010 and recertified in 2023, highlighting her dedication to education and community service. Tania has also served as Past-President of the Association for Fundraising Professionals (AFP) – Manitoba Chapter and mentors emerging fundraisers.

Beyond her professional work, Tania is dedicated to volunteerism, starting with St.Amant’s recreation program. She is involved in a long-standing support network for individuals with intellectual disabilities, serves on the Board of Directors for Community Care, and leads the Embers branch of Girl Guides. Tania also volunteers with the Winnipeg Folk Festival’s arborist crew, “The Tree Huggers.” She enjoys the outdoors with her husband and 8-year-old daughter, fostering a love for nature and community.

We are excited to have Tania join the St.Amant Foundation. Her expertise and values will be invaluable in helping us achieve our mission of supporting individuals to live full lives. Please join us in welcoming Tania to her new role.
