Autism Acceptance Month Shows What’s Possible

April 2, 2025

Autism Acceptance Month is a celebration of a more inclusive world. It is about respecting and embracing people for who they are. It is a reminder of how to create an inclusive society.

Inclusion is more than a physical space. It is beyond accommodation. It is actions celebrating and appreciating differences. It also is a personal experience unique to everyone. For someone to feel included, they must feel welcomed, respected, and valued for who they are.

St.Amant’s Autism Programs is dedicated to building and promoting full inclusion in our community. Tailored supports are provided to children and teens to help them thrive and add sparkle to the world.

We host community events that celebrate autism and neurodiversity. Our team offers an ongoing series of free workshops to the public. Strong partnerships with organizations have been built. These further the understanding and appreciation of people with autism and their unique contributions.

Through recognizing, nurturing, and celebrating these differences, our homes, schools, workplaces, and neighbourhoods deepen. It allows for greater creativity, innovation, compassion, and empowerment for all. That is the world we all deserve to experience.
