Cultural Awareness Week, which celebrates diversity and inclusion, returns to St.Amant this year, from January 31 to February 3, 2017.
This year’s format includes a variety of events that will take place in the St.Amant Café.
Tuesday, January 31, 11:30am – 1pm – Mix It Up At Lunch Day – for just one day, we ask staff to take a risk, move out of their comfort zone, take a new seat in the cafeteria, and connect with someone new over lunch.
Wednesday, February 1, 12pm – 1pm – Who Wants to be a Canadian Citizen? quiz game featuring John Leggat, President & CEO in the cafeteria.
Thursday, February 2, 4:30pm – 6:30pm Canadian Citizenship Ceremony hosted by St.Amant, in partnership with the Canadian Citizenship & Immigration Department, in the gym at 440 River Rd.
Friday, February 3, 12pm – 1pm– Panel discussion “Reflections on the Part of New Citizens”, and live entertainment by guest artist in the cafeteria.
By popular demand, a culturally diverse menu will once again be available for Cultural Awareness Week at the St.Amant Café. Treat yourself and come savour Chef Daniel Nicholls’ delicious creations.
Lastly, check out a variety of blogs on my.stamant.ca where staff will be sharing personal immigration and Canadian life experiences during Cultural Awareness Week.
