Calling all crafters! Looking for a fun way to help St.Amant?

April 27, 2020

We’re asking volunteers, family, and friends to make homemade, non-medical face masks or to donate supplies. We’re looking for up to 2000 masks. Could you make a dozen?
In cheery colours and patterns, staff and people we support can wear them.
Aside from direct support roles, where Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, non-medical masks can be worn.
They’re easy to make, and this handy how-to video can get you started.

If sewing is not your thing, St.Amant’s seamstress could make use of donated supplies:

  • printed cotton fabric
  • rope or beading cord elastic
  • 1/8” flat, fabric-covered elastic

You can even recycle t-shirts and pillowcases! Please drop off materials or masks at 440 River Road before 5 pm on weekdays. Using the phone in the entranceway you can call and let the front desk know you have material or masks to drop off and someone will collect them for you.
We’re grateful and thinking of you every day. Please call 204-258-7048 if you have any questions.
