No matter where you work at St.Amant, you’re making a difference. From accountants to support workers, human resource consultants to autism tutors, everyone has an important role to play in creating a more inclusive world for people with developmental disabilities and autism, and that’s what you’ll be doing when you join our team.
Today, 85 percent of St.Amant’s work happens in Manitoba communities and Winnipeg neighbourhoods; not inside the original buildings at 440 River Road in St. Vital (our head office). For certain roles, we offer flexible, remote work-some staff are able to work from home.
At St.Amant, no matter where you work, you dress-for-your-day and are part of a team of people who are passionate about social justice and supporting people to live their best lives. We are a collaborative bunch, and we respect everyone we work with, and support, for their unique gifts and abilities-we encourage our staff to be exactly who they are and share their individuality at work! From 40 years of service to just four days, staff are encouraged to be bold, creative and grow both personally and professionally while working at St.Amant. While we have a wide variety of worksites, they are all warm and collaborative.

Staff practice mindfulness at St.Amant in formal and informal ways. St.Amant encourages staff to perform it daily, by starting most meetings with a “mindful moment” and offers training opportunities throughout the year. We recognize the scientifically-proven positive benefits and the fact that we can all use a deep breath now and then to keep our day on track!
When you work at St.Amant, in any role, you can join a variety of committees meant to foster a safe and fun work environment. We have committees that focus on diversity, sustainability, African heritage, and LGBTQ2S+. Our committees plan activities and host events throughout the year for staff to learn and engage in new topics or just to have fun and win prizes!

Each week, more than 135 St.Amant volunteers help enhance the lives of people with developmental disabilities and autism in a variety of programs throughout the organization. The range of volunteer opportunities is vast! From recreational activities, pen pals, helping to make phone calls and assisting with swim activities , the sky is the limit for our volunteer community. No matter where you volunteer within the organization, you are making a difference, meeting great people and having fun!
