COVID-19 Response Plans

September 11, 2020

September 11, 2020

Dear Health & Transition Services Families:

Staff and people supported are healthy and doing well.

We continue as a team to practice and solidify our COVID-19 response plans.

Last week, we shared highlights of our response plans; one of the top priorities is family communication. Please make sure we have your current contact information, including an email address. Contact Ruth Tailleur to provide any revised information at 204-256-4601 extension 4298 or rtailleur@stamant.ca

We are committed to doing everything we can to ensure we share information about a positive case with you as quickly as possible, however, there is a chance that the media may release information before we are able to connect with everyone. Having your current contact information, including an email address will assist us in notifying you quickly.

We continue to explore all options to support the continuation of visits that are currently happening outdoors in the colder months. Unfortunately, we’ve learned that the funding for this strategy is not extended to St.Amant. We believe that we need to find a way to ensure that safe visitation can continue and are currently working hard to find a solution to ensure that visits can continue as the weather gets colder. Please stay tuned for updates!

Additionally, we are developing how to best support essential visits if we have a positive case and are moved to a Red Response Level.

Thank you for your meaningful feedback; please stay well and be safe.
