Inspired by decades of classroom experience, today’s workshop is filled with highly valuable
tips, skills, and ideas that can be used to create the ideal environment for all children to learn
and grow, and to feel safe, valued, respected, and appreciated. Topics include uncommon
safety tips, the use of visual supports, emotional regulation, transitions and distressed
behaviour, supporting early communication, the use of alternative communication forms and
devices, and a lot more. Focus will be placed on creating environments that meet a wide variety
of individual needs while also providing opportunities for group learning.
