Training Overview
St.Amant offers a half-day Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) training to support staff members who experience a challenging or critical incident in the workplace. CISM defusing allows for a rapid reduction of intense reactions, normalization of the experience, and allows leaders to assess whether further support is needed.

- What is a Critical Incident?
- Types of stress, including triggers and reactions
- How to use CISM defusing formally and informally, including practical experience
What you can expect:
This workshop includes the use of lecture, videos, group discussions, and breakout rooms. Participants are expected to join using a device with a webcam and microphone to fully participate.
