This session touches on a wide variety of topics that affect our daily work, with a focus on empowering the people we support to exercise their rights.

Learning Objectives

  • Explain how our choice of words and labels impact the people we support.
  • Identify ways to provide choices.
  • Compare legal decision making status and how it affects the daily life of the people we support.
