Donations in Memory of Devin Ramdoyal

January 5, 1999 – February 7, 2021

Devin truly cherished the time he spent with the friends he supported while volunteering at St.Amant and left a meaningful impression, not only on them, but on everyone who had the chance to get to know him. He was a good and caring friend who made a deep and positive impact and had a mindful way of making those around him feel truly valued.

Devin has inspired his friends at St.Amant to reach out to others and make connections. The St.Amant Foundation would like his memory to continue to inspire not only the people he supported and whose lives he touched, but other volunteers, people we support, families, friends and staff to connect in meaningful ways. In honour of Devin’s time and passion to volunteering at St.Amant, proceeds raised will support:

  • Spread Some Sunshine Fund: an annual cash award will recognize a volunteer, program or person supported by St.Amant to celebrate Devin’s commitment to connecting, supporting and lifting people up. Award will be presented by his family.
  • Devin’s Reflection Space: to encourage staff and community to foster new friendships, a wheelchair accessible space will be created with a paved pathway, benches and an alder tree. This space reflects the welcoming, spiritual, and open presence that Devin brought to his volunteering at St.Amant.

His parents will be notified of your donation and you will be provided further information once Devin’s Reflection Space is completed. Thank you for your kindness in remembering Devin!
