Dalip Shekhawat is attempting to climb Mount Everest in spring 2019 from the south face in Nepal. The expedition begins in the first week of April from Kathmandu and will take approximately 55 to 60 days to get to the summit and back. He is using this climb as an opportunity to raise funds and create awareness for children and adults with developmental disabilities and autism supported by St.Amant.
He works at St.Amant School teaching students who have high behavioural needs and every day he experiences the difference that we can make in these students lives. With your help, we can raise funds to provide access to leisure and recreational activities, necessary communications tools, and accessible mobility equipment for students at St.Amant School.
Help Dalip make a difference! His goal is to raise $10,000 for the St.Amant Foundation. You can pledge him online and help him reach his goal.
Thank you to Corey Van Mackelbergh for raising $2700 for St.Amant Foundation through her Ink for Autism fundraiser. Corey donated the proceeds from 16 autism themed tattoos she did at the Winnipeg Tattoo Show.
For Giving Tuesday, Cinnaholic Winnipeg held a day of giving by donating a portion of that day’s sales to St.Amant Foundation.
