Leisure: Everyone wants to have fun! Leisure time is when we get to try new things, practice the activities we enjoy, meet new friends or connect and strengthen our current friendships. Your support removes financial or accessibility barriers and helps keep people active in their community, doing the things they love and making new friends along the way.
Recreation: Do you remember the first time you cheered on your favourite sports team in person, swooned over the dancers at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet or laughed until you cried at Rumours Comedy Club? All of these memory-makers are out of reach for people with disabilities on a fixed income and your donation ensures everyone has the chance to have something to look forward to in the future.
Personal Items and Equipment
Did you know that having a disability is expensive? Most of the people we support have specialized equipment needs or could use a hand for personal items that aren’t covered by Medicare. From critical needs like wheelchairs, hearing aids and orthotics to equipment that brings joy and sparks fun like bikes, and adapted sports equipment, the list of personal items and equipment needed by people with disabilities is long and costly. Your donation means that everyone can live their best life.

Can you even imagine life without technology these days? Your donations ensure students have laptops and iPads to meet their learning and socializing needs and also fund specialized speech devices that can enable a person to have a voice and make choices in their life.
