Holiday Message to All St.Amant Families

December 18, 2020

Hello,
When I think about the past year, kindness is the word that keep floating to the surface. We have lived through unimaginable circumstances filled with uncertainty, change, isolation, restriction and pain. The response to these circumstances within the St.Amant community is flexibility, creativity, resiliency and, above all, kindness. I find this remarkable and humbling. I have deep gratitude to everyone in our community for choosing to be kind and gracious when it would have been easy to default to a more challenging response.
A common phrase this year has been “the silver lining in this” where we then insert: a creative way of serving people, a new partnership, opportunities for connection, celebrating something incredible…. the list goes on. When the option to veer toward the negative or climb toward the opportunity presents itself, we have seen over and over again that our community chooses to reach for opportunity. Buoyed by optimism and hope and carried on the values we all share, we are finding the silver lining and the moments of joy while still acknowledging the feelings of pain and loss and fear.
I’m grateful to you for being a positive part of our community. I’m grateful to our team for their dedication and way of being. And I’m grateful to everyone who honours us with the opportunity to support them. Their trust and your trust means the most to all of us. We are looking forward to the hope and opportunity that awaits us as the calendar turns to 2021.
From all of us at St.Amant, we wish you the very best of the holiday season.
