H&TS Family Newsletter

October 8, 2021

Dear H&TS Families,
Your family members are enjoying the beautiful fall weather and are being kept busy by our dedicated team. This past week some people supported were able to attend a Jets game in a suite that was donated to St.Amant for the night. Plus, there are plans for Halloween virtual events, and opportunities to attend future Jets and Bomber games.
We’re happy to share there have been no COVID-19 cases in the Health & Transition Services community. We’ve begun making the flu shot available on-site to our staff and the care areas are getting the people we support ready for their annual flu shots. You will be contacted to review the influenza vaccine and consent if you are the decision maker for your loved one. The influenza vaccine is another thing we can do to keep ourselves and loved ones safe this fall/winter.
I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! Nutrition Services is preparing a Thanksgiving menu this weekend for your loved ones. I hope you take some time this weekend to reflect on all the things to be thankful for.
Thanks,

Sarah Mankelow (she/her/they)
Director, Health & Transition Services
