Update: Letter to Families – July 30 2021

August 11, 2021

Hello,
This week, St.Amant held another successful Pfizer and Moderna vaccine clinic at the St.Amant Spirit Cottage property with 97 total doses administered and 26 first-time doses. It was another milestone in our organization’s fight against COVID-19.
People who needed extra time and support for the vaccine made use of the clinic but there were also many other people from the neighbourhood getting their second shot and seeing our organization’s values on display. An additional vaccine clinic day is planned for late August. We are very grateful to staff and volunteers who once again did an amazing job to ensure these clinics were a positive and successful experience for everyone including people supported.
If you are in need of a convenient option to receive your first or second dose, please note that the RBC Convention Centre supersite will offer walk-in immunizations every day from 9 am to 8 pm to the end of the month. (The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will both be available). In addition, most pharmacies across the city also have vaccines available.
We remain very thankful that there are currently no active COVID-19 cases in the St.Amant community.
Have an enjoyable and restful long weekend,

Shirley Labossiere
Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer
