Message to Autism Programs Families

June 12, 2020

June 12, 2020
Dear Autism Programs Families:
Over the past week, we have been making progress with gathering information from our colleagues in child care centres and developing procedures and protocols for resuming our in-person services. We continue to await a final response from Dr. Roussin, Manitoba’s Chief Public Health Officer – which we expect to receive later today. We have also received many responses to the survey we sent out to families last Thursday. If you are currently enrolled in the Early Learning Program, please be sure to send in your survey by no later than Monday, June 15, 2020

Once we have final recommendations from Public Health, and have reviewed all responses to the survey, we will be able to finalize and share our plans for resuming in-person services. Our goal is to be able to share that information with you by the end of next week.
Thank you for your patience and your feedback – we are looking forward to getting back to in-person services!
Sincerely,
Kerri Walters Ph.D., C.Psych., BCBA-D
Director, Autism Programs and Psychology Services

Message from the CEO

There are no disability rights; only human rights. I was reminded of that old saying when thinking about the busy month ahead of us.
