St.Amant Families Update – November 5, 2021

November 5, 2021

Dear St.Amant Families,
I am incredibly proud our team’s dedication and commitment to preventing the spread of Covid-19 and to full participation in our community by being fully vaccinated. We are confident that implanting the Covid-19 vaccine policy was the right thing to do for everyone’s safety and quality of life.
We are receiving updates from Public Health reminding all of us to continue to use our PPE properly and to maintain all precautions. Covid-19 rates are rising as are admissions to the Intensive Care Units. Please continue to be vigilant when you visit.
With flu season, we are seeing more illness in the community. It’s very important that you get tested for Covid-19 if you have any symptoms and that you stay home – even if your symptoms are very mild.
Next week, St.Amant is hosting a flu vaccine clinic for you, your family, people supported, volunteers, and friends of St.Amant. This is your opportunity to help us keep the people we support and your family members safe throughout flu season. The clinic is scheduled for Wednesday, November 10, from 12:30 pm to 7:15 pm at the Spirit Cottage. More information can be found here: bit.ly/StAmantFluClinic.
We are asking everyone to be extra attentive to safety and security. If you have an access card for 440 River Road, please remember to bring it, or you will need to wait between the doors until someone from the unit can let you in. Please do not hold the door for others. We need each person to access the door themselves or to use the phone to call in for access. This ensures only authorized people enter the building and also helps us know who is in each building.
We appreciate your ongoing support and hope you enjoy this beautiful weekend.
