Staff Spotlight: Michael Friesen

January 25, 2022

Michael Friesen is a Manager with Adult Health Services

Michael Friesen

When Michael Friesen was in nursing school, he did a clinical placement at St.Amant for his pediatric rotation. He remembers his introduction to St.Amant as warm and inviting, and the staff being helpful and compassionate. It was evident to him that the people supported by the organization were well cared for, and that the staff were here for the right reasons.

Since then, Michael has worked nursing in a number of different capacities. From Acute Care at the Grace Hospital, he progressed to several management and director positions in the Long Term Care and Community sector.

And he is glad to have now circled back and joined this wonderful team!

Michael is most looking forward to being a strong advocate for the quality of life of the people that we support, and embracing the exciting and positive changes happening within the organization.
