Update for Health & Transition Services Families: August 7, 2020

August 7, 2020

Dear Health & Transition Services Families:
We are pleased to expand our indoor visiting hours for designated family caregivers to 11:00 am – 8:00 pm, effective Monday, August 10. Please remember to pre-screen before leaving home, use a mask for the entire visits, and to wash/sanitize your hands upon entry, exit, and throughout your visit as required.
Please follow the signage on arrival; you may need to call the unit directly and wait for someone to come and screen/escort you to your loved one’s room. There will be disinfectant wipes available to clean the phone in between uses. Please be patient as we continue to make efforts to schedule in-person greeters and screeners through volunteer services and our front reception staff. We also ask for your cooperation in ensuring appropriate physical distancing between yourself and any other visitors that may be waiting to be screened.
We are relying on all family visitors to stay home if you are not feeling well, please don’t risk the spread of infection by visiting.
We continue to offer and schedule outdoor visits and window wishes visits for those who do not wish to visit inside or for those who are not designated family caregivers.
Thank you for your continued diligence and support to keeping everyone safe and healthy!
Sincerely,
Sarah Mankelow
Director, Health & Transitions Services
