December 19, 2021

Dear Health and Transition Services Families,
We wanted to pass on information to let you know that holiday/Christmas planning with and for your loved one is well under way here at Health & Transition Services.
Our volunteers, recreation and service area staff have planned a month full of activities and events to celebrate this festive time of year. While we must remain vigilant with our Covid precautions, we are confident we will be able to ring in the new year with your loved one with sense of joy and cheer that this season rightly deserves!
Just a sample of activities planned so far will include:
– Attending a Christmas movie matinee
– Winter science experiments
– Gingerbread train decorating
– Wheelchair decorating
– Snowman Making day
– Virtual holiday concerts
– Visiting the Winter Wonderland
– Christmas songs karaoke
– Attending the Sacred Fire Winter Solstice
– Christmas baking
Additionally, you should know that a winter wonderland has been created in our atrium area with beautiful holiday décor. Service areas are in the process of planning a Santa visit or pictures with Santa!
We want to take this opportunity to wish you all the very best this holiday season. Please feel free to coordinate visits as per our visitation process and reach out with question if you have them!
All the best to you and your families,
Jennifer Busch, Senior Manager
