Update to St.Amant Families – December 3, 2021

December 3, 2021

Dear St.Amant Families,
As you have likely seen in the news, with the discovery of a new COVID-19 variant, there are new travel restrictions being put into place. This includes for healthcare providers and visitors. This information has been added to our screening process for both staff and visitors.
You may have also seen that there is a change to visitation for community homes. Each home will be discussing their decision around whether visitors need to be vaccinated or not. Each home is working through that decision-making process with their team and the outcome will be communicated by the home to families and friends. If you have any questions, please reach out to your family member or the staff in the home directly.
Our children’s vaccine clinic was very well received and we were able to vaccinate 180 children! We have planned another clinic for Saturday, December 11. You can find more information here (https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090a4ba5a62ca0f58-stamant21).
We are looking forward to sharing some updates and seeing everyone virtually at the Family Town Hall next Thursday evening. If you haven’t signed up, I hope you will: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/stamant-virtual-town-hall-meeting-registration-220802124097. We have all missed seeing you and although the virtual meeting isn’t the perfect substitution, we are all looking forward to the opportunity to see you. After the updates, there’s time to ask questions and catch up.
Thank you for keeping up with all of the changes and continuing to be a supportive and positive influence with your family members and our teams.

President & CEO
