Update to St.Amant Families – February 19, 2021

February 19, 2021

The weather is warming and we can sense the optimism in the air!
Eligible adults within Health & Transition Services will receive their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on March 1 and we expect that the schedule for everyone we support in the community to follow very soon as all people with disabilities who are supported residentially have been prioritized. We expect they will roll that schedule out by age and potentially location.
Health & Transition Services has been approved to host an asymptomatic testing clinic for staff who work directly with people supported through H&TS or staff who interact/work with staff of H&TS. We are working out the logistics and setup of the clinic and anticipate the clinic to open March 2.
Our team continues to work through the realities of COVID-19 while planning for the future. Our executive team will spend one day next week looking through our strategic goals and prioritizing work for the coming year. We look forward to sharing an invitation to a family town hall very soon that will be held online in early April.
Your support means the world to all of us. Thank you for continuing to be positive, helpful and hopeful. Enjoy your weekend.
