Update to St.Amant Families – January 28, 2022

January 28, 2022

Dear St.Amant Families,
Along with a break in the weather, came a break in the number of sick calls and number of COVID-19 cases. The numbers with week are as follows:
Five cases in people we support: one in Autism Programs, one in Community Residential Program, two in Community Services and one in Health & Transition Services.
11 cases in staff: two in Autism Programs, one in Clinical Services, five in Community Residential Program, one in Community Services, and two in Health & Transition Services.
This past month was incredibly challenging, and we really want to take some time to share our gratitude with all of our employees who have been working so hard. We have scheduled a special Covid-19 edition Town Hall for staff on Wednesday February 16. We are inviting all families to share some gratitude with staff. If you are willing to send a note, or participate in a video, I know that it would mean so very much to our employees. You can participate by emailing news@stamant.ca
Vaccines continue to prove effective in the fight against COVID-19 and in keeping people out of hospitals, if you haven’t had a chance to get your booster shot, please connect with a community clinic to get your third dose. The children’s vaccine clinic is scheduled to run February 4 and 5.
I hope that everyone is taking some time to do the things that help you rest and feel well.
Sincerely,
John Leggat
President & CEO
