Update to St.Amant Families – March 19, 2021

March 19, 2021

Dear St.Amant Families,
Vaccine eligibility is changing quickly, we are working hard to ensure everyone who is eligible is supported to receive it. We hope all family members are paying attention and making appointments. Eligibility is updated about once a day at https://protectmb.ca/eligible-groups/. Appointments can now be made online for those who are eligible at https://protectmb.ca/making-your-appointment-is-easy/.
Second doses of the vaccine will be administered on Monday for eligible adults supported by Health & Transition Services. This is another positive step forward for everyone at St.Amant.
One employee was confirmed positive for COVID-19 this past week in the Community Residential Program. They weren’t working while contagious, so no contact tracing on St.Amant’s end was necessary. The employee is recovering well at home. This is our only active case at the moment.
I hope you received your invitation to our town hall for families we have planned for April 14. I hope to see you there. Here’s a link to register: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/stamant-virtual-town-hall-meeting-registration-146829598281.
The nice weather means we can all get outside and I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.
Thank you for your ongoing support and feedback.
Stay safe,
John Leggat
President & CEO
