Update to St.Amant Families – March 26, 2021

March 29, 2021

Hello,
I’m happy to report that we have no new cases of COVID-19 this week.
We are preparing for increase COVID-19 numbers based on the numbers and the COVID-19 variants we’re seeing in the community. For us, preparation means ensuring that our staffing contingency plans are in place in case we have more staff who are ill or who need to isolate, supporting staff to use their PPE properly and offering refresher training, and frequent reminders about the fundamentals: washing hands, wearing masks, staying six feet apart and following all Public Health guidelines.
We are also supporting staff to get their vaccines by reminding eligible staff to make appointments, supporting time away from work to attend appointments, providing information and resources about the vaccine and offering our Occupational Health Nurses to answer questions if needed. We hope that as family members become eligible, you will also receive your vaccines. If you are looking for reliable information about the COVID-19 vaccine, you can find it here.
We sent out an invitation to the Virtual Family Town Hall last week and are hoping to see many of you live on April 14 at 6:30pm. We will talk about our ongoing COVID-19 response and our strategic priorities for the upcoming year – we have some exciting projects on the go. You can RSVP by clicking here. We will have an opportunity for live questions, or you can send any questions you might have in advance to jrodrigue@stamant.ca. Hope to see you there!
