Update to St.Amant Families – October 17, 2022

October 17, 2022

Dear St.Amant Families,

Influenza season is upon us and Covid-19 continues to be present in our community, however luckily we are not seeing high rates, or severe illness. Experts locally and from across Canada are predicting a lot of influenza and Covid-19 illness this fall and winter and we want to remind everyone of the importance of staying home when sick. We also know that preventative measures, like the flu shot and Covid-19 booster shots are recommended. Please help us keep our community safe and get your immunizations.

We are focused on learning to live through this next phase of Covid-19 and balancing risk and wellbeing. We all know that being with our friends and family, participating in events and activities we enjoy and taking part in new and fun experiences are key to our mental health and wellbeing. I hope that you are hearing about the experiences of your family member now that we are able to support more activity. I also hope that you are nurturing your own wellbeing.

Wishing you all a wonderful week!
