You’re Invited To APPLE Open House On January 20th

January 11, 2017

The new adult literacy program at 440 River Road, Adult Program: People Learning Everyday (APPLE) has been a success with 24 people enrolled in it. Staff and families are invited to an open house on Friday, January 20, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm in SG70, to learn more about APPLE and how it helps people St.Amant supports. Refreshments will be available.
After a pilot program, APPLE officially launched on January 3. APPLE allows for smaller class sizes (six groups of four), one to one support and drop in evening classes. Students who didn’t participate in the previous adult literacy program have enrolled in APPLE and enjoy it.
St.Amant would like to thank the St.Amant Parents Association for donating $1050 for communication devices used in the classes.
