Last Thursday history was made! The Manitoba Alliance for Direct Support Professionals’ first Annual General Meeting was held, its founding constitution voted in and a full slate of 11 Board of Directors was elected. Over 130 DSPs and other supporters packed the CGA room at Red River College to participate in this historic moment! A small group, which St.Amant is a part of, has been working towards this for quite some time and was ecstatic to see this finally come to fruition. They look forward to continuing to support the evolution and development of this Alliance as it works towards enhancing and promoting the work that DSPs play in the lives of people we support!
