Q:

How long does the hiring process take?

It depends on the nature of the position.  Sometimes, a new hire can start working within three weeks from their first contact with HR, but it may take longer.  Often the delay is related to receiving reference checks.  If you have an interview, immediately let your references know we may contact them.  We often send our reference checks via email.

Q:

What are the conditions of employment at St.Amant?

You must be legally eligible to work in Canada and possess a grade 12 diploma or equivalent. We’ll ask to see your proof of Covid vaccination as well as ask you complete an occupational health check, when you start.

For all positions, you’ll need to complete:

  • Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
  • Child Abuse Registry Check
  • Adult Abuse Registry Check
  • Prior Contact Check

Some positions require Class 4 or 5 driver’s license. Some positions require First Aide & CPR and/or Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training.
