Stabilization Unit
Thanks to enormous local support, St.Amant is now prepared to help people with disabilities in their most trying times.
On Tuesday, April 18, 2023, St.Amant celebrated the grand opening of its newly-renovated stabilization unit for people with disabilities. The grand opening event brought together donors, families, and staff to celebrate this important and anticipated service area. This renovation project marks the largest fundraising campaign for St.Amant Foundation, with a total of $4 Million raised thanks to the generous community.
Spirit Cottage
Thanks to generous donor support, in 2014, we officially opened the St.Amant Spirit Cottage by Hans Kraus Family & Qualico. Since then, we’ve welcomed hundreds of guests every year, free of charge. Accessibility and proximity to support staff can make a getaway hard, our thoughtful donors heard that and brought the year-round cabin experience we all crave to our own backyard.
The four-season cottage is equipped with lifts, a wheelchair ramp, three bedrooms and has all the amenities needed for a memorable weekend getaway, including an in-ground pool, fire pit and generous decking. Thanks to the incredibly generous people like you, we can provide the people we support and their families a warm and relaxing retreat overlooking the treed riverbank behind 440 River Road in St. Vital.

With the support of many generous donors this project ensures the individuals and their families we support will get to have recreation and relaxation options that’s convenient and inclusive.
