Research Access

St.Amant Research Centre improves the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities and autism through research and education. We use a multidisciplinary approach to create new knowledge and translate our research into useful information for caregivers, support staff, and policymakers. We aim to create a world where all people, regardless of their abilities, can develop to their fullest potential.

St.Amant Research Centre is a partnership between St.Amant and the University of Manitoba.

Any research projects requesting St.Amant’s help in participant recruitment must obtain approval from St.Amant Research before recruitment or any other research activities may commence.

Approval is granted to proposed projects upon review by a Research Access Review Committee. Ad hoc committees are comprised of three reviewers who are manager-level St.Amant staff and/or specialists that determine both the ethical and operational acceptability for conduct at St.Amant.
