Overview: This three hour workshop explores how to ensure that everyone is able to bring their full authentic self to work. The goal of this workshop is to explore a pro-diversity approach to empowering communities within the workplace. It touches on key themes such as reviewing our own bias, looking at systemic discrimination, micro-aggressions and St.Amant’s Respectful Workplace Policy.

Review your own bias through written and verbal self-reflection exercises
Summarize how systemic discrimination occurs from stereotypes, prejudices, and acts of discrimination
Discuss micro-aggressions: what they are and how they are defined
