Training Overview

This workshop explores how to ensure that everyone is able to bring their full authentic self to work. The goal of this workshop is to explore a pro-diversity approach to empowering communities within the workplace. It touches on key themes such as reviewing our own bias, looking at systemic discrimination, micro-aggressions and St.Amant’s Respectful Workplace Policy.

Learning Objectives

• Review your own bias through written and verbal self-reflection exercises
• Summarize how systemic discrimination occurs from stereotypes, prejudices, and acts of discrimination
• Discuss micro-aggressions: what they are and how they are defined
• Describe the importance of St.Amant’s Respectful Workplace Policy to empower communities in the workplace

What you can expect
In this workshop you can expect lectures, videos, and group discussions. If your session date is online, you must join with a device that has a webcam and microphone. If your session is in person, see the location or your confirmation email for details.
