Training Overview

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training emphasizes early intervention for preventing or managing disruptive behaviour. Disengagement techniques are taught to facilitate employee safety in escalating situations.

This is a refresher session for the NCI 2 Day, which is only open to staff or Foster Care providers that have a soon-to-expire NCI 2 Day session or it has expired in the last 6 months.

To know what your Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training status is, sign into your Quadrant Self Serve profile and check under competencies. All of your current competencies will be listed. To determine the NCI requirements of your position and/or for registration please contact your Supervisor.

If you have any questions or are wanting to register for the training please contact your direct Supervisor, Scheduling Administrator or Safety Facilitator. Registration is completed through Quadrant.
