Update to St.Amant Families – March 29

March 29, 2021

Dear St.Amant Families,

On Friday evening, we become aware of a person supported in our Respite Program within Health & Transition Services who had tested positive for COVID-19. The person is supported within the Child & Young Health Service, was tested asymptomatically, and was sent home.
Through our contact tracing process, we identified the people supported and which staff were considered close contacts. All of the residents within the service area were provided asymptomatic testing and all of those tests came back negative. No staff have tested positive. All of those same residents will be retested in 10-14 days or if symptoms appear. People supported within Child & Young Adult Health Services will be closely monitored for symptoms and will remain in their rooms. Health & Transition Services staff will reassess restarting visitations, tomorrow.

We continue to follow all precautions to minimize exposure to COVID-19, and these precautions remain our most critical defense against the spread of COVID-19.

There are no other active positive cases in the organization at this time.

Stay safe,

Shirley Labossiere
Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer
