Advancing Cultural Understanding: St.Amant Corporate Services’ Indigenous Training

March 28, 2024

St.Amant Corporate Services took a proactive step towards embracing diversity by attending an Indigenous Cultural Awareness Training workshop on February 28th. Led by knowledgeable Indigenous facilitators from the WRHA, the session provided team members with insights into Indigenous cultures, traditions, challenges and opportunities.

The team spent the day learning about Indigenous histories through engaging discussions and activities where participants gained valuable perspectives, fostering empathy and awareness. Importantly, the learnings will be integrated into daily practices and strategic objectives, aiming to create a more inclusive environment.

This initiative aligns with St.Amant’s commitment to diversity and inclusion and enhancing its ability to serve a diverse range of individuals. As the team applies their newfound knowledge, they look forward to making a positive impact in their work and beyond.
