This partnership has birthed an unparalleled hub of knowledge, dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. At the heart of the St.Amant Research Centre lies a profound mission: to empower and inform society for the benefit of persons living with intellectual and developmental disabilities through world-class collaborative research and education.
The Research Center aims to create relevant research, use the findings to serve the people we support, build strong community relationships and improve education and capacity building within St.Amant and beyond.
Thanks to the generous support of the Winnipeg Foundation, The St.Amant Foundation received a community grant in which a portion was devoted to evidence-informed planning and evaluation work at the Research Centre, including the Community Transitions Evaluation Project. Together with the Foundation, we aspire to elevate the quality of life for those living with intellectual and developmental disabilities, leveraging the power of research as a catalyst for positive change.
