Championing Accessibility: St. Vital Centre Shares with St.Amant and Community – New Adult Lift and Change Table Unveiled

April 4, 2024

St. Vital Centre is buzzing with excitement as it proudly unveils its latest addition – brand new public washrooms nestled between Union Insurance and Sushi Gozen. The doors are now open, welcoming all visitors to experience the enhanced amenities firsthand.

The new facilities boast everything one could expect from modern washrooms, including a family washroom for added convenience. But what sets these washrooms apart is the introduction of an adult accessibility washroom, marking a significant step towards inclusivity and accessibility.

Featuring an adult lift and change station, this pioneering addition stands as the first of its kind in any Manitoba mall. It’s a game-changer, designed to cater to the diverse needs of our community, ensuring that everyone can navigate and enjoy the shopping experience with ease and comfort.

“St. Vital Centre is proud to usher in a new era of accessibility amenities to Manitoba Shopping Centres. We are incredibly proud to introduce these devices to not only St. Vital Centre, but also to the community we serve. We look forward to a continued positive partnership with the community, and we invite you to visit our Centre to not only see these new amenities, but also to see all the new and exciting tenant offerings that have been welcomed to St. Vital Centre recently”.    – Kyle Waterman, General Manager for St. Vital Centre

St. Vital Centre extends an open invitation to all to come and explore these upgraded amenities. Whether you’re a frequent shopper, a casual visitor, or a member of the St.Amant community, these facilities are here for you. Spread the word, share the excitement, and let’s celebrate this milestone in inclusivity together!
