Another quiet week at Health & Transition Services

Dear Health & Transition Services Families,

This has been another quiet week at Health & Transition Services from a COVID perspective with no new cases.

Pam Dussome and the Recreation Team are busy planning a summer full of fun activities and entertainment that’s both virtual and in-person wherever possible and safe to do so within the guidelines. We are committed to making the most out of the short Manitoba summer!

We are looking forward to expanding visitation as announced earlier this week. The province is still ironing out all of the details and we expect to get some updated guidelines next week to help us in our planning and communication. For now, everything stays the same, and although we are thankful for the rain and the heat, we know this brings mosquitos, so don’t forget your bug spray for outdoor visits!

The reopening plan for Manitoba was announced yesterday, and as expected, it is based on Manitoba’s vaccination rates. If you haven’t received yours yet, please book an appointment at protectmb.ca or at 1-844-626-8222.

Thank you for your support,

Sarah Mankelow
Director, Health & Transition Services
