October 16, 2015

Paul Redmond and his dance partner, Regan Hirose, Director of Cubanisimo Dance Company will be competing in the Limitless Division at the 2015 World Latin Dance Cup (WLDC) to be held in Miami, Florida, this coming December. It is a division for individuals living with disabilities who love dance. Paul will be making history as the first person to represent Canada in this division. Paul is supported in St.Amant’s Community Residential Program and was featured in the St.Amant Foundation’s 2014 year end campaign.
Albert Torres, producer of WLDC is pleased Paul will be competing. “The limitless division was created last year for the World Latin Dance Cup and for individuals like Paul with challenges but still with dreams to dance. It is an honour to have Paul and Regan represent Canada. We hope his dream can become a reality with the help of the general public and make the impossible, possible.”
Paul recently joined Cubanisimo Dance Company and has been dancing with Company Director, Regan Hirose since the spring of this year. They performed at the 2015 Winnipeg Salsa Fest and the crowd was amazed. Click here to see their performance: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2sUQOj3WxeRX3AtQktUMWlKVWs/view?usp=docslist_api.
