Cultural Awareness Week Returns

January 27, 2017

Cultural Awareness Week, which celebrates diversity and inclusion, returns to St.Amant this year, from January 31 to February 3, 2017.
This year’s format includes a variety of events that will take place in the St.Amant Café.
Tuesday, January 31, 11:30am1pm – Mix It Up At Lunch Day – for just one day, we ask staff to take a risk, move out of their comfort zone, take a new seat in the cafeteria, and connect with someone new over lunch.
Wednesday, February 1, 12pm1pm – Who Wants to be a Canadian Citizen? quiz game featuring John Leggat, President & CEO in the cafeteria.
Thursday, February 2, 4:30pm6:30pm Canadian Citizenship Ceremony hosted by St.Amant, in partnership with the Canadian Citizenship & Immigration Department, in the gym at 440 River Rd.
Friday, February 3, 12pm – 1pm– Panel discussion “Reflections on the Part of New Citizens”, and live entertainment by guest artist in the cafeteria.
By popular demand, a culturally diverse menu will once again be available for Cultural Awareness Week at the St.Amant Café. Treat yourself and come savour Chef Daniel Nicholls’ delicious creations.
