New St.Amant Cafeteria To Open April 26

April 2, 2015

St.Amant is pleased to announce that we are contracting Marek Hospitality to operate the food side of our cafeteria starting April 7, 2015. The goal is to move toward more choices, healthier menu options and an expanded catering function for individuals we support, staff and for events hosted by St.Amant. To provide the expanded services the cafeteria will be closed for renovations starting at 4pm on Tuesday, April 7 to Saturday, April 25. A soft opening of the renovated cafeteria will occur on April 26 with a grand opening on Monday, April 27 featuring full food services from Marek Hospitality.
A temporary cafeteria will be setup in the West Dining Room from 4pm Tuesday, April 8 to Saturday, April 25.
Marek Hospitality will have a limited menu and there will be no refrigeration or short orders available during this time. The cafeteria will try to accommodate more options if possible.
There will be a hot entrée of the day with soup, prepared salads, prepared sandwiches, baked goods, breakfast wraps, oatmeal, water and coffee still available.
The hours will remain the same during this time and the temporary cafeteria can be accessed through the sliding doors or doorway entrance.
Catering and service to the residents of River Road Place will not be affected during the renovations.
The renovations will allow for improved meal choices for staff, volunteers, individuals and families we support, as well as a take home catering service.
The current St.Amant Cafeteria gift cards will not be valid after Saturday, April 25, 2015. Merek Hospitality, the new food operator of our cafeteria, will have their own cards and our current ones will no longer work.
